abstract = "This article aims to characterize the urban afforestation in
Frutal (MG), located in Meso Triangulo Mineiro, and promoting
research focused on the importance of urban forestry plan. For
this we use terotechnology that help calculate the environmental
levels of this element, being possible to make a diagnosis on its
distribution in the city and occupied or devoid of vegetation
areas. The results demonstrate an inadequate index for the city of
Frutal, only (11, 62%) of its urban area is occupied by the
treetops. The vegetation index per capita is (40, 48 mē / hab). We
stress the importance of geotechnology for monitoring urban
vegetation and how it can assist in the management of this element
of cities.",
